The American Society for Cell Biology (ASCB) is an international scientific community that brings together researchers who study the cell—the fundamental unit of life. Its mission is to advance scientific discovery, influence research policy, enhance education, empower scientists, and promote diversity in the life sciences profession.

The Molecular Biology of the Cell (MBoC), ASCB’s official journal, publishes research across all areas of cell biology, ranging from biophysics and genetics to neuroscience. Each year, the journal receives more than 2.6 million accesses and downloads.

During the trial, users can access the full range of content, including tables of contents, abstracts, full-text search, complete articles, videos, large data sets, PDFs, “MBoC in Press” articles (accepted manuscripts), as well as links to Medline and GenBank databases.
